Short Run Bulletins

Short run bulletins allow companies, churches, individuals, interest groups, communities and other groups the opportunity to broadcast important events, happenings, charities, or other key dealings. Bulletins help get the word out about what?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢s going on in communities and groups that would not otherwise be publicized. Sizes vary from small, 4?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨?? x 6?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨??, to large, 18?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨?? x 24?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨??. Large sizes have the advantage to presenting a wealth of information, but also bring with it the disadvantage of portability. Small sizes obviously have to squeeze more information into a smaller area but gain the characteristic of being handily put into a pocket or notebook. The main benefit of using a printed bulletin, as opposed to a web based bulletin or email, is that a printed piece has physical dimensions. This allows the viewer to hold it in their hand, place it on a table or refrigerator, and ultimately gain my viewing times out of it than an email ever would. With an email bulletin or message, a person may look at it quickly, scan it over for any important information that may pertain to them, and then erase it. With a paper bulletin, you have the advantage of creating a unique piece that may hold some sort of value with a viewer ?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?Ñ?? something that they may want to keep.

Some effective tactics for an attention getting piece would be lamination, bright colors, contrasting text, large lettering and good color. The Xeikon 5000 is a perfect digital press to achieve several distinctive sizes and maintain an amazing color quality. For even large bulletins, it s possible to do full sized bulletins, as in 72?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨?? or greater.
